Dear Prospective Parent:
I'm sure you're nervous deciding where to send your son or daughter to daycare. But let me assure you that you have nothing to worry about! We sent both of our children (one girl and one boy) to Maria's daycare for about a year and a half each, from about the time they turned one until they were about two and a half. We had a great experience at Maria's.
Maria creates a safe and welcoming environment for the children, and they seem to really like being there. Neither child ever seemed uncomfortable or expressed that they didn't want to go on a particular day. Perhaps most importantly, Maria and her team kept both of them safe during their time there. Indeed, we never noticed anything that made us feel unsafe.
One great feature of Maria's is the backyard. During all but the snowiest times, the kids are outside at least twice a day, and the backyard is stunning. It's very well maintained, and has lots of fun stuff for the kids to play with. It also has a huge and perfect lawn, meaning it's cooler and pretty shady in the summer.
Another great feature of Maria's is her longtime assistant, Rosalva. Our daughter told us that Rosalva was her best friend when she was about two. Rosalva seems to have an amazing and intuitive connection with the children. She also does their hair after nap, so our kids always came back home from daycare looking much better than when they arrived.
Finally, Maria has both a genuine warmth and a super-long track record. These two factors also contributed to us sending our kids to Maria's, and kept us satisfied while our kids were there. Maria's warmth creates a lovely atmosphere. And her track record reassures you that your children are in good hands.
All the best,

We went to many different daycare facilities when searching for the right fit for our then 8-month old son, Parker. Maria's was our last stop, and I am so thankful we found her! I continue to be so impressed by her balance of creating a nurturing environment, while being able to maintain structure, organization, and cleanliness. I appreciate how she has a routine each day, so the children know what to expect, which is very comforting for Parker. She also is very active in continuing her early childhood development education by participating in local workshops and conferences. I have learned a lot from her in regards to strategies for building good behaviors and properly disciplining when undesirable behaviors arise.
When I leave Parker at Maria's Daycare, I know he's in the best hands. He is safe, comfortable, and in an environment that stimulates positive growth of social skills, creativity, and learning development. I never worry, and that is a priceless gift to a mom!
Maria is understanding of schedules and is accommodating when she can be. There have been a few times when we've had to change our days and she always does the best she can to help us out. I appreciate her flexibility.
I cannot recommend Maria's Daycare enough. She and Rosalva are natural caregivers and Parker loves them as much as we love having him there!
Best,

Dear Maria,
It is a special brand of trust that you place in the people who care for your child. And we have always trusted you implicitly.
We feel so incredibly lucky to have had both you & Rosalva in our daughter' life. Your kindness & compassion toward our daughter has been palpable...from the way you greet her enthusiastically every morning to your special attention to her nap needs. We've enjoyed your parties, your songs and your homemade gifts.
At every step, our time with you has felt like more than simply daycare...it's like extended family.
You will always "Tia Maria" to us.
All our gratitude,
The Rowe-Samuels Family, 2015-2017
To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Debbie Hoyer and I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Maria Gonzalez.
My daughter Ella is 13 months old and currently attends Maria's Day Care 4 days a week. Ella has been in Maria's care for 1 year and we are not only satisfied with her child care services, but also deeply grateful to have such a wonderful and experienced child caregiver helping us raise our daughter.
My husband Josh and I have entrusted Maria with Ella's care since she was 2 months old. Maria has done an excellent job implementing every instruction we have for Ella's daily care and always honors our requests. She is attentive, patient and unflappable. She has been with us through all of Ella's year 1 milestones and continues to love, support and nurture Ella every step of the way.
Maria provides a safe, loving and fun environment for children to thrive in. She is a member of our family now because my daughter absolutely adores her. I have and will continue to refer my family and friends to Maria and recommend Maria's Day Care to any parent in need to day care.
Sincerely,
Debbie Hoyer

We cannot say enough good things about Maria's Daycare. Maria and Rosalva are so kind and caring to all of the children under their watch. I was so nervous to leave my oldest at day care when I went back to work the first time after he was born. Would he eat? Would he nap? Will he get enough attention? My husband went to check on him halfway through that first day and he was sleeping soundly in the crib after drinking an entire bottle. That put my put my mind at ease and set the tone for the rest of our time with Maria. She truly is The Baby Whisperer. Over the years they taught our kids so much...counting in Spanish, sweet Mother's Day songs, how to share, and even how to use the potty. We sent our children to Maria's for a total of four years and I am so happy with our choice. These women helped raise my babies and I love them for it. They became like family to all of us and I highly recommend them to everyone!
